Our verdict: Didomi and FlowConsent are both French CMPs, but they serve different customers. Didomi is a full platform for enterprises and publishers: IAB TCF 2.3, Google certification, A/B testing, cross-domain and cross-device sync, apps and connected TV, all on quote. FlowConsent is a simple CMP with public pricing, free up to 25,000 sessions per month and installed in 10 minutes. For an SME website, an agency or an online store, FlowConsent covers the essentials on a budget you know upfront. For a publisher living on programmatic advertising or a multichannel group, Didomi is the stronger choice.

What is a CMP and why do you need one?

A Consent Management Platform (CMP) lets a website comply with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive for cookies and trackers. It is used to:

  • Display a consent banner that meets regulator guidance
  • Collect and record visitor choices
  • Block non-essential cookies before consent
  • Keep proof of consent (consent log)
  • Pass consent signals to advertising and analytics tools, in particular through Google Consent Mode v2

European data protection authorities regularly fine cookie violations, and GDPR fines can reach €20 million or 4% of global turnover. A well-configured CMP also protects your analytics: Google requires consent signals for some advertising features in Europe.

Didomi overview

What is Didomi?

Didomi is a French company founded in 2017 in Paris, which has become one of Europe's leading consent management vendors. It sped up in 2025: in April, it raised funding from the investment firm Marlin Equity Partners and acquired Addingwell, a server-side tagging specialist based in Lille; in July, it acquired Sourcepoint, a US CMP widely used by news publishers.

Didomi's philosophy

Didomi targets organizations for which consent is a revenue issue: publishers, media, brands and international groups. Its promise goes beyond compliance: maximize consent rates through A/B testing and analytics, unify consent across sites, apps and devices, and prepare for server-side data collection.

Didomi's strengths

The certifications ad tech expects

  • Google Certified CMP Partner
  • IAB TCF 2.3, CMP ID 7
  • Listed among Google-certified CMPs for web, apps and connected TV
  • ISO certification highlighted by the vendor

Consent optimization on every plan

  • Banner A/B testing, starting with the Essential plan
  • Consent analytics and proof of consent
  • Deep banner customization (JSON and CSS)

Unified consent

  • Consent sync across domains and across devices
  • Unlimited domains, with billing based on monthly unique visitors
  • 45+ languages for banner copy
  • Support for multiple regulations

Multichannel coverage

  • CMP for mobile apps
  • CMP for connected TV (Android, iOS, Amazon Fire)
  • Server-side tagging, with a free plan up to 100,000 requests
  • Preference management and compliance monitoring as separate modules

Support included

  • Onboarding and training
  • Email and live chat support
  • Customer success managers, with SLA levels that vary by plan

Advanced features on the Premium plan

  • White labeling (Didomi logo removed)
  • Advanced analytics exports and export to a data warehouse
  • Admin API
  • Single sign-on (SAML SSO)

Didomi's limitations

No public pricing

  • All three plans are on quote, through a contact form
  • No free plan shown for consent management
  • The budget is only known after the sales conversation

Built for structured organizations

  • The depth of settings takes time to learn
  • Several key features (white label, API, SSO) are reserved for Premium
  • Add-on modules (preferences, compliance monitoring) are priced separately

A longer buying cycle

  • No self-service sign-up with listed prices
  • A sales conversation before going live

Didomi pricing (October 2026)

Didomi offers three consent management plans, all on quote:

Essential (on quote)

  • Multi-regulation compliance
  • Banner customized to your branding
  • Consent analytics and proof of consent
  • A/B testing
  • Cross-domain and cross-device sync
  • Unlimited domains

Advanced (on quote), presented as the most popular

  • Everything in Essential
  • Focused on compliance auditing and monitoring
  • Higher support and SLA level

Premium (on quote)

  • Everything in Advanced
  • White labeling
  • Advanced analytics exports and data warehouse export
  • Admin API
  • SAML SSO

The price depends on monthly unique visitors (MUV). Other products have their own metric: number of scans for compliance monitoring, database size and API calls for preference management, number of requests for server-side tagging.

Sessions or unique visitors: what changes

The two vendors do not measure the same thing.

  • FlowConsent counts sessions. A visitor who comes back four times in a month counts as four sessions.
  • Didomi counts monthly unique visitors. The same visitor counts once.

For a site with many returning visitors, Didomi's metric is therefore mechanically lower. That alone is not enough to compare prices, since Didomi does not publish the price attached to a given volume.

What this means in practice

Small site (10,000 sessions per month)

  • FlowConsent: free
  • Didomi: on quote

Mid-sized site (50,000 sessions per month)

  • FlowConsent: €14.99/month excl. VAT, or €179.88 per year
  • Didomi: on quote

Large site (100,000 sessions per month)

  • FlowConsent: €14.99/month, or €179.88 per year
  • Didomi: on quote

Very large site (500,000 sessions per month)

  • FlowConsent: Enterprise plan on quote
  • Didomi: on quote

Since Didomi has no public prices, we do not put a figure on savings. The best method is simple: ask Didomi for a quote for your volume and compare it with the €179.88 per year of FlowConsent's Pro plan, or €0 if you stay under 25,000 sessions per month.

Questions

Didomi or FlowConsent: your questions

Can't find your question? Write to us, we answer fast.

What's the difference between Didomi and FlowConsent?

Both are French CMPs, but they target different audiences. Didomi serves large companies and publishers, with the IAB TCF, A/B testing, cross-domain and cross-device consent sync, and SDKs for apps and connected TV. FlowConsent focuses on the website cookie banner, with public pricing and a 10-minute setup.

How much does Didomi cost?

Didomi does not publish its prices. Its three consent management plans (Essential, Advanced, Premium) are quoted based on monthly unique visitors, with unlimited domains. FlowConsent lists its prices: free up to 25,000 sessions per month, then €14.99/month excl. VAT up to 100,000 sessions.

Does Didomi have a free plan?

For consent management, Didomi shows neither a free plan nor a public price on its offers page. Only its server-side tagging service has a free plan, limited to 100,000 requests. FlowConsent is free up to 25,000 sessions per month, with no credit card required.

Is Didomi IAB TCF and Google certified?

Yes. Didomi is a Google Certified CMP Partner and appears on Google's list of certified CMPs with TCF ID 7, for web, apps and connected TV. It supports IAB TCF 2.3. FlowConsent is not IAB TCF certified yet; support is coming soon.

Can FlowConsent replace Didomi?

For websites that need a GDPR-compliant banner, Google Consent Mode v2, cookie scanning and a consent log, yes. If you rely on the IAB TCF, A/B testing, consent in mobile apps or on connected TV, or cross-device sync, Didomi is the better fit today.

How do I migrate from Didomi to FlowConsent?

Scan your site to list the active services, build your FlowConsent banner with the same categories, then replace the Didomi script with the FlowConsent one. Check your Google Consent Mode v2 signals afterwards. Export and keep your Didomi consent records for your audits.
