Four steps, no developer and no Google Tag Manager. You scan your site, set up the banner and paste one line of code. FlowConsent then takes care of blocking, consent and proof.

The full journey, exactly as you will go through it in FlowConsent.
FlowConsent loads your pages, spots every cookie and every third-party service (analytics, advertising, chat, video) and sorts them by purpose. Create your free account and the list is already waiting for you.
Choose a layout (bottom bar, popup, cookie wall…), match your colors and fonts, write your copy and add your languages. The preview updates live, on desktop and on mobile. In the Services tab, you declare your marketing tools: those are what the banner will block.
Copy the install code and paste it at the very top of your site's <head>, before your other scripts, so before the </head> tag. No plugin required, no Google Tag Manager. A setup assistant then checks that the code is there and in the right place.
As soon as you publish, the banner shows on the first visit and analytics and advertising scripts wait for the visitor's choice. Change the design or the copy from the dashboard whenever you like, without touching your site's code again.
Four mechanisms switch on as soon as the banner is published. Nothing more to configure.
Until the visitor has answered, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar and the other declared tools stay blocked. Only the scripts your site needs to work are loaded.
Google's four signals start as "denied" before any tag loads, then follow the visitor's choice. Your Google Ads campaigns stay measurable, without overriding a refusal.
Every choice is timestamped and kept for 13 months. It is your proof if a data protection authority or a customer asks how consent was collected.
An audit, an inspection, a question from your DPO? Export the log to CSV in one click, along with your acceptance rates by category.
One script that runs on every CMS as well as on hand-coded sites. Your marketing tools are recognized and only load after consent.
Your site
Your marketing tools, handled by the banner
No. If you can paste a snippet of code into your CMS settings, you can install FlowConsent. The script is pasted once into your site's <head>, and everything else is set up from the dashboard.
As high as possible in the <head>, before your other scripts, on every page. On WordPress: in the theme's header.php or through a header plugin. On Shopify: in theme.liquid. On Webflow: Site settings, Custom code, Head code. The setup assistant then checks that everything is in order.
No, FlowConsent works without it. If you already use Tag Manager, you can keep it: Google Consent Mode v2 is handled natively and your Google tags receive the visitor's choice.
On the Free plan, the banner is deployed to your own Cloudflare account, which is free: connecting it only takes a few minutes the first time. On Pro and Enterprise, we host it for you and deployment takes one click.
Open your site in a private window: the banner should appear, and no request to a third-party tool should go out before you click Accept. The first choices quickly show up in your dashboard. FlowConsent can also run a “consent refused” scan that lists everything that still runs after a refusal.
Create your FlowConsent banner, then replace the old tool's script with the FlowConsent one, in the same spot in the <head>. Never leave both in place at the same time. Our migration guide covers the special cases, such as scripts tagged by your previous tool.
