Our verdict: for most websites, Webflow sites included, FlowConsent offers the best value: free up to 25,000 sessions per month, then €14.99/month with 3 domains included, and usable on any platform. Consent Pro is an excellent choice if you are 100% Webflow, want an app built into the Designer and prefer to pay a lifetime license per site, especially for a single high-traffic site.

What is a CMP and why do you need one?

A Consent Management Platform (CMP) is the tool that lets a website comply with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, as well as other privacy laws such as the CCPA and LGPD. It allows you to:

  • Display a consent banner that meets legal requirements
  • Collect and record visitors' choices
  • Block cookies and trackers until consent is given
  • Keep proof of consent (a consent log)
  • Pass choices on to marketing tools, for example through Google Consent Mode v2

Without a CMP, a site that sets non-essential trackers is exposed to fines from European data protection authorities of up to €20 million or 4% of global turnover.

To manage consent on Webflow, most sites add a third-party CMP; Webflow's own help center documents how to integrate Consent Pro. Consent Pro and FlowConsent are two common options for Webflow sites, with opposite approaches. Consent Pro is a native Webflow app, sold per site. FlowConsent is a platform-independent CMP, priced by session volume. This comparison helps you choose.

Several products have similar names. This comparison covers Consent Pro by Finsweet (consentpro.com), formerly Finsweet Cookie Consent, the cookie consent app built for Webflow. On October 2, 2026, we checked that the product is still on sale, that its pricing page is live and that its app is still part of the Webflow ecosystem.

FlowConsent is a French consent management solution, positioned as an accessible alternative to premium CMPs. Its goal is to make GDPR compliance available to everyone, with a professional tool hosted in Europe and sold at a clear price.

Consent Pro is published by Finsweet, a well-known agency in the Webflow ecosystem, recognized for its tools for Webflow developers. The product succeeds Finsweet Cookie Consent. It describes itself as the cookie consent solution built natively for Webflow and installs as a Webflow app. Consent Pro highlights Webflow-specialized agencies among its users.

Consent Pro bets on the deepest possible integration with Webflow: configuration in the Designer, translation through Webflow Localize, and per-site pricing with the option to pay once. The tool targets teams and agencies that build exclusively on Webflow and want to stay in that environment.

Native Webflow integration

  • Installed through the Webflow app, inside the Designer
  • Integration with Webflow Localize to translate banners and preferences
  • Documented Weglot compatibility
  • Free testing on .webflow.io staging domains before going live

A lifetime license

  • $199 once for Basic, $249 once for Premium, per site
  • No subscription to renew if you choose the lifetime license
  • 14-day money-back guarantee

Useful automation

  • Automatic script blocking based on consent
  • Detection of scripts loaded through Google Tag Manager
  • Full site scan to detect trackers and scripts
  • AI-filled tracker details and AI categorization (provider, description, data collected, privacy policy)
  • Privacy policy generator

Compliance beyond the GDPR

  • GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive
  • CCPA, CPRA and other US state laws
  • Automatic support for the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal
  • Google Consent Mode v2
  • Automatic consent storage, with an option to send consents to your own database

Advanced features on Premium

  • Geolocation: a banner tailored to the visitor's region
  • Built-in consent analytics (accept rate, deny rate, trends)
  • Scheduled scans (weekly, monthly or on a set date)

Webflow only

  • Works with Webflow only: you cannot use it on a WordPress, Shopify or custom-built site
  • If you leave Webflow, you have to change CMP
  • The documentation supports exported sites, provided several setup requirements are met

One license per site

  • Every plan covers a single site or domain
  • Several sites mean several licenses or subscriptions
  • A partner program exists for agencies (30% commission and discount)

Features reserved for Premium

  • Geolocation, analytics and scheduled scans are not in Basic
  • No free plan in production

Points to check

  • IAB TCF 2.3 listed as coming soon, not yet available
  • Consent Pro does not appear on Google's list of certified CMPs
  • The documentation does not state where consents are hosted and notes that compliance also depends on server locations, which remain your responsibility
  • Prices in US dollars

Monthly subscription

  • Basic: $12/month
  • Premium: $18/month

Annual subscription

  • Premium: $15/month, billed annually ($180/year)

What Premium adds over Basic

Both plans include automatic script blocking, consent storage, AI categorization, GTM detection, full site scan, banner translation, Webflow Localize integration, the privacy policy generator and technical support.

Price scenarios

FlowConsent prices below exclude VAT; Consent Pro prices are in US dollars.

Scenario 1: one Webflow site with 15,000 sessions per month

  • FlowConsent: free (Free plan)
  • Consent Pro: $199 once (Basic) or $120/year (Basic, annual)
  • Verdict: FlowConsent is free. Note that the FlowConsent mention stays visible on every plan, and that the Free plan is deployed on your Cloudflare account.

Scenario 2: one Webflow site with 60,000 sessions per month, with analytics

  • FlowConsent: €14.99/month (Pro), or €179.88/year
  • Consent Pro: $249 once (Premium lifetime) or $180/year (Premium, annual)
  • Verdict: over one year, they are close. Over several years, Consent Pro's lifetime license costs less. That is a genuine Consent Pro advantage.

Scenario 3: an agency with 3 Webflow sites, 90,000 sessions in total

  • FlowConsent: €14.99/month (Pro, 3 domains included), or €179.88/year
  • Consent Pro: 3 × $180 = $540/year (Premium, annual), or 3 × $249 = $747 once (Premium lifetime)
  • Verdict: FlowConsent is clearly cheaper in year one. With lifetime licenses, Consent Pro becomes competitive after several years, as long as the sites stay live and on Webflow.

Scenario 4: one Webflow site and one WordPress site

  • FlowConsent: €14.99/month (Pro), both sites in the same account
  • Consent Pro: usable on the Webflow site only, so the WordPress site needs another CMP
  • Verdict: FlowConsent covers both.

Scenario 5: one very high-traffic Webflow site (500,000 sessions per month)

  • FlowConsent: custom quote (Enterprise)
  • Consent Pro: $249 once (Premium lifetime), no traffic limit stated
  • Verdict: Consent Pro wins on price.

In short, FlowConsent is unbeatable for small sites (free) and for several domains (3 included). Consent Pro is very competitive for a single high-traffic Webflow site that you keep for a long time.

Installation and setup

Installing FlowConsent on Webflow

Step 1: create your account (2 minutes)

  • Sign up for FlowConsent
  • Confirm your email address
  • Create your first project

Step 2: configure the banner (5 minutes)

  • Pick a banner template
  • Customize colors and copy
  • Set up cookie categories
  • Turn on Google Consent Mode v2 (a single toggle)

Step 3: install in Webflow (3 minutes)

  • Copy your FlowConsent code
  • Paste it at the top of Site settings, Custom code, Head code
  • Publish the site (the Designer preview does not run custom code)
  • Remove any Google Analytics ID set in Apps & Integrations: Webflow injects it above your custom code, where no banner can block it

Total: about 10 minutes. The Webflow integration guide covers every step.

Step 1: install the app

  • Install the Consent Pro app from Webflow
  • Open it in your project's Designer

Step 2: configure

  • Add the banners and the preferences panel
  • Run the site scan and let the AI categorize trackers
  • Review categories and copy, translate with Webflow Localize if needed
  • For Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode, follow the dedicated documentation guide

Step 3: publish and license

  • Test for free on the .webflow.io domain
  • Buy the license and attach it to your production domain
  • Publish

Consent Pro does not publish a typical setup time. For a simple site, onboarding is quick thanks to the Designer integration and the automatic scan. More advanced cases (embedded videos, maps, reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts, iframes) have dedicated guides in its documentation.

Using Consent Pro? Check what is really running on your site. FlowConsent scans your site to detect every active third-party service, then turns the result into a compliant cookie banner in one click. Scan my site for free: no installation, no commitment, results in 1 to 3 minutes.

Use cases: who should choose what?

Choose FlowConsent if...

  • Your site has fewer than 25,000 sessions per month. FlowConsent is free, Consent Pro is paid as soon as you go live.
  • You manage several sites. 3 domains included in the Pro plan, versus one license per site with Consent Pro.
  • You are not only on Webflow. One tool for Webflow, WordPress, Shopify or a custom site.
  • You want statistics without paying more. Included from the Free plan.
  • European hosting matters to you. FlowConsent hosts its paid plans in Europe.

Typical profiles:

  • SMBs and startups
  • Agencies working across several CMSs
  • Low- and mid-traffic Webflow sites
  • Portfolios of several sites
  • E-commerce and media
  • You are 100% Webflow and plan to stay that way. Integration with the Designer and Webflow Localize is its main strength.
  • You prefer to pay once. The lifetime license avoids any subscription.
  • You run a single high-traffic site. No traffic limit is stated on the pricing page.
  • You also target the US market. CCPA, CPRA, GPC and geolocation (Premium) are covered.

Typical profiles:

  • Webflow-specialized agencies
  • Long-lived Webflow marketing sites
  • High-traffic Webflow sites
  • Teams that want to manage everything in the Designer

Final verdict: our recommendation

For most websites: FlowConsent

Why?

  • Free for small sites: up to 25,000 sessions per month
  • A flat price after that: €14.99/month excl. VAT up to 100,000 sessions
  • Multi-domain included: 3 domains in the Pro plan
  • No platform lock-in: Webflow today, something else tomorrow
  • European hosting: no data transfers outside the European Union

Choose Consent Pro if:

  • You want an app built into the Webflow Designer
  • You prefer a lifetime license per site
  • You run a single high-traffic Webflow site
  • You need geolocation and the GPC signal for a US audience

Consent Pro is a serious product, built by a team that knows Webflow inside out. Its per-site model and Webflow exclusivity are its main constraints.

Conclusion

The choice between FlowConsent and Consent Pro mostly depends on your relationship with Webflow and on how many sites you manage:

  • Choose FlowConsent if you want a CMP that is free up to 25,000 sessions, 3 domains for €14.99/month, European hosting and the freedom to change platform.
  • Choose Consent Pro if you work exclusively on Webflow, want to manage consent in the Designer and a per-site lifetime license fits the way you buy.

For most SMBs, startups and agencies, FlowConsent is the most flexible and economical choice. For a single, high-traffic Webflow site built to last, Consent Pro is a solid alternative.

Questions

Consent Pro or FlowConsent: your questions

Can't find your question? Write to us, we answer fast.

What is Consent Pro?

Consent Pro is the cookie consent solution from Finsweet, an agency that specializes in Webflow. It succeeds Finsweet Cookie Consent and installs as a Webflow app, directly inside the Designer. As of October 2, 2026, the product is still sold on consentpro.com and works with Webflow only.

How much does Consent Pro cost in 2026?

According to its pricing page on October 2, 2026, Consent Pro is sold as a lifetime license at $199 (Basic) or $249 (Premium), or as a subscription: Basic at $12/month or $10/month billed annually, Premium at $18/month or $15/month billed annually. Every plan covers a single site or domain, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Is FlowConsent cheaper than Consent Pro?

It depends on your situation. For a site under 25,000 sessions per month, FlowConsent is free, while Consent Pro is paid as soon as you go live. For a single high-traffic Webflow site kept for several years, Consent Pro's lifetime license can cost less than FlowConsent Pro at €179.88/year excl. VAT. For several sites, the 3 domains included in FlowConsent Pro often make the difference.

Does Consent Pro work outside Webflow?

No. Consent Pro is built exclusively for Webflow and installs through the Webflow app. Its documentation says it can keep working on a site exported from Webflow if certain setup requirements are met. FlowConsent installs with a script in the head of any website, Webflow included.

Are Consent Pro or FlowConsent IAB TCF certified?

Neither, for now. Consent Pro lists IAB TCF 2.3 support as coming soon, and FlowConsent also announces the IAB TCF as coming soon. If you serve programmatic ads through Google AdSense or Ad Manager in Europe, you currently need a Google-certified CMP, which neither Consent Pro nor FlowConsent is yet.

How do I switch from Consent Pro to FlowConsent on Webflow?

Create your FlowConsent account and configure your banner, uninstall Consent Pro from your Webflow project, then paste the FlowConsent code into Site settings, Custom code, Head code and publish the site. Remove any Google Analytics ID set in Apps & Integrations, otherwise Webflow loads it before any banner. Keep your Consent Pro consent logs for audits.
