Mongrel
Mongrel is a family of open source web servers created by Zed Shaw: the original Mongrel served Ruby applications, and its successor Mongrel2 is a language-agnostic server built on ZeroMQ. It is detected through the server signature of websites running on it. It works on the server side and does not by itself set tracking cookies.
