Clicktripz is a performance advertising and click acquisition network for the travel industry. Hotels, airlines, OTAs, and metasearch sites use it to buy and sell qualified travel intent traffic. The platform deploys JavaScript ad tags and conversion pixels on partner websites, sets cookies to track which click led to a booking, and shares attribution data with advertisers.
Clicktripz sets third party cookies including ctz_uid (pseudonymous identifier, twelve months), ctz_clk (click attribution, thirty days), and synchronised IDs with partner DSPs. It also collects search intent signals (destination, dates, currency) when present in URLs.
The legal basis is explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) ePrivacy. Legitimate interest is not acceptable for behavioural and intent based advertising, especially when intent data is shared with multiple advertisers.
