Crocoblock JetEngine and JetPlugins bundle for WordPress and Elementor that builds custom post types, dynamic content, listings, and relational data structures.
JET Enterprise is the highest tier bundle of Crocoblock JetPlugins for WordPress. It groups JetEngine, JetSmartFilters, JetFormBuilder, JetBooking, JetAppointment, and other modules to build custom post types, dynamic listings, relational content, and multi step forms on top of Elementor or the WordPress block editor. Crocoblock is operated by Zemez LLC, with EU operations in Cyprus and engineering teams in Ukraine.
JET Enterprise itself does not load advertising scripts or analytics pixels. It relies on the standard WordPress session and authentication cookies (wordpress_logged_in, wp_settings, wordpress_test_cookie) and may add JetEngine specific cookies for editor state and dynamic listing pagination. JetFormBuilder processes the submissions that visitors send through forms, which can include name, email, and any custom fields the site owner configures. License keys are validated against the Crocoblock API on a periodic basis, exchanging the site URL, the license key, and a plugin version string.
The cookies set by JET Enterprise qualify as strictly necessary under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, so they fall outside the prior consent requirement. Form submissions, on the other hand, are personal data processed under Article 6(1)(b) when they support a contract or Article 6(1)(a) when consent is the appropriate basis (for example newsletter sign ups). The site operator acts as controller for any data captured through Jet powered forms or listings.

Crocoblock licensing endpoints run on EU based infrastructure, so license traffic does not constitute a systematic export to a third country. If a controller pairs JetFormBuilder with third party connectors (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Webhook.site, or Google Sheets), those integrations may transfer submission data outside the EEA and need to be assessed separately, typically under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Document JET Enterprise in your record of processing activities as a content management and form building plugin. Disclose any third party connectors used by JetFormBuilder, set retention windows for form entries, and review dynamic listings to make sure they do not expose author email addresses or other personal data unintentionally. A consent banner is not required for the base plugin cookies, but consent or another valid basis is needed for the data captured through forms when it is reused for marketing.
Websites using JET Enterprise must obtain user consent under GDPR regulations.
DPIA considerations
A full DPIA is generally not required because JET Enterprise operates as a server side WordPress plugin bundle that does not perform large scale profiling on its own. A targeted risk assessment is recommended when the plugin is used to build forms collecting special category data, member directories, or any dynamic listing that aggregates user submitted content. Document the data categories processed, the retention policy, and whether dynamic listings expose personal data publicly.
Sample consent text
This site is built with Crocoblock JET Enterprise, a WordPress plugin bundle that powers custom layouts, listings, and dynamic content. JET Enterprise sets strictly necessary first party cookies to maintain your session and to keep the editor working correctly. It does not load advertising trackers or share your browsing data with third parties. These cookies are exempt from prior consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
Third-party domains contacted

| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| wordpress_logged_in_[hash] | first_party | Session (until logout) | Identifies a logged in WordPress user so the Jet editor and dynamic content render correctly |
| wp_settings_[user_id] | first_party | 1 year | Stores WordPress admin and Elementor editor preferences for the current user |
| wordpress_test_cookie | first_party | Session | Verifies that the browser accepts cookies before serving the WordPress login screen |
| jet_engine_* | first_party | Session to 30 days | JetEngine state for dynamic listings, pagination, filters, and editor preferences |
| jet_popup_* | first_party | 1 to 30 days | Tracks which JetPopUp dialogs have been displayed or closed to avoid showing them again |
JET Enterprise uses cookies for user preferences — inform visitors with a consent banner.
JET Enterprise relies on the standard WordPress session cookies (wordpress_logged_in, wp_settings, wordpress_test_cookie) and adds JetEngine specific cookies for listings, filters, pagination, and popup state. None of them carry advertising identifiers.
No prior consent is required for the cookies the plugin sets on its own, because they are strictly necessary under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. Consent may be required separately if you reuse form data for marketing or feed it to third party connectors.
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR covers session and license operations needed to deliver the service. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) supports security related logs. Form submissions captured by JetFormBuilder rely on Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(a) depending on the use case.
In its default configuration, license verification stays within Crocoblock EU infrastructure. Transfers to the US can occur only when site operators connect JetFormBuilder to US based services such as Mailchimp or Google Sheets, which must then be covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
A full DPIA is not normally required because the plugin does not perform large scale profiling. A targeted impact assessment is recommended if you use Jet powered forms or listings to handle special category data or to build a member directory exposed publicly.
Document the plugin in your record of processing, list any third party connectors, configure form retention windows, restrict admin access, and review dynamic listings so that they do not leak personal data such as author email addresses.
Comparable WordPress stacks include Advanced Custom Fields with Meta Box, Bricks Builder, Toolset, and Pods. Each has different licensing, data handling, and form building capabilities, and should be assessed against your specific functional and compliance needs.
List the strictly necessary cookies set by WordPress and JetEngine, explain their purpose and lifetime, and add a note that JET Enterprise itself does not load advertising trackers. Update the privacy policy whenever you enable a third party JetFormBuilder connector.
