SPNEGO (Simple and Protected GSSAPI Negotiation Mechanism) es un mecanismo de autenticación, no un producto. La RFC 4559 describe su uso sobre HTTP, conocido como autenticación Negotiate, para iniciar sesión con Kerberos o NTLM, normalmente en redes Windows. Funciona mediante cabeceras HTTP y no se utiliza para rastrear a los visitantes.
