No. If you can paste a snippet of code into your CMS settings, you can install FlowConsent. The script is pasted once into your site's \, and everything else is set up from the dashboard. ### Where exactly do I paste the script? As high as possible in the \, before your other scripts, on every page. On WordPress: in the theme's header.php or through a header plugin. On Shopify: in theme.liquid. On Webflow: Site settings, Custom code, Head code. The setup assistant then checks that everything is in order. ### Do I need Google Tag Manager? No, FlowConsent works without it. If you already use Tag Manager, you can keep it: Google Consent Mode v2 is handled natively and your Google tags receive the visitor's choice. ### Where is my banner hosted? On the Free plan, the banner is deployed to your own Cloudflare account, which is free: connecting it only takes a few minutes the first time. On Pro and Enterprise, we host it for you and deployment takes one click. ### How do I check that the banner works? Open your site in a private window: the banner should appear, and no request to a third-party tool should go out before you click Accept. The first choices quickly show up in your dashboard.
